With my own startup it' s temping to anticipate a fast exist, but I have to remind myself that building value is a slow process. As for becoming an expert, at least as Gladwell defines it, I wonder how often such a feat pays off. Working smart vs working hard in my experience has usually been the best move. Good post Erik. It may not last long, but if the answer it correct why should that person not be the "expert" at least until he is wrong. Have you ever noticed how often the talking heads are wrong, but they always get another chance to unload their worthless opinion on the world. It may not last long, but if the answer it correct why should that person not be the “expert” at least until he is wrong.

We are just getting to the point where we can be excited to see some potential success, but there is still a considerable ways to go! At first I was jealous of these one month success stories that were popping up, thinking I didn't have what it took.
